A highly engineered, releasable quarter turn fastener with tamper evidence, designed to be integrated into all double wall and triple wall heavy duty corrugated boards.
Corruloc comprises four components – 2 snap rings, 1 male key and 1 female keyhole. The component parts are snapped together in pairs, by hand or mallet, into 64mm diameter apertures (die cut or drilled) in each of the two boards to be connected. Assembly is rapid and can done by hand or utilising the fitting aids we provide.
Corruloc becomes integral to the pack into which it is assembled and so cannot be lost. A simple quarter turn enables two boards to be fastened securely together and then released. Corruloc has been designed to be easily closed and opened (even by gloved operators) yet cannot open due to vibration in transit.
Corruloc is unique in offering a tamper evidence facility, utilizing off the shelf seals. Corruloc can be assembled into two positions - to suit all double wall and triple wall heavy duty board grades (from heavy BC twin and including CA and BCB grades). Corruloc can also be used to connect differing combinations of board grades.
Corruloc - Typical Use
Corruloc is typically used in 5 panel wraps (shown here), also in telescopic octabins, heavy duty flat pack cases and transit cases requiring tamper evident closures.
